Open Up (King of Glory)

Inspired by Psalm 27:7-10. Written September 2005

As I thought about these Scriptures, I saw a broader theme (also confirmed throughout Scripture) that God wants not just the temple or church building doors open to welcome Him, He desires hearts and bodies to dwell in. He wants to be with us in our homes and daily lives.

Open up, Open up, Open up ancient gates
Open up, Open up, Open up ancient doors
Let the King of Glory enter this place

Who is this King, this King of Glory?
The Lord Strong and Mighty
Victorios Warrior
Lord of Heaven's armies
He is the King of Glory

Open up, Open up, Open up hearts and souls
Open up, Open up, Open up towns and homes
Let the King of Glory take His rightful place
